Out on the first day of Mental Health Month – May 1.

When I came home from Atlanta’s Shepherd Brain and Spine Center in the summer of 2018, my wife and I looked for a book to read that would give us insight into the hundreds of questions we had and knew would come up. At Shepherd, life for me was scheduled into 45-minute increments, and I had probably the best care available on the East Coast. At home? I had my wife, and she was scared.

We couldn’t find a book like this, so I did what any sensible person would do. I wrote the book I looked for.
